2007/2008 Park of the Year

Pismo Coast Village RV Resort has been selected RV Park of the Year for 2007 - 2008 by the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC) in the Large Park category.  General Manager Jay Jamison accepted the award November 7 at the ARVC InSites 2007 Convention and Expo in Phoenix, Arizona.

Pismo Coast Village has previously received this prestigious award, given to parks with 251 to 499 sites, in 1995, 1997, and 1999.

The Park of the Year Awards are judged on criteria that includes national directory ratings; operations excellence; community service; association involvement; park promotions; management skills; and education and training techniques.

The National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds represents more than 3,900 commercial RV parks and campgrounds throughout the US and Canada. The association is headquartered in Falls Church, Virginia. The association's annual convention and expo, InSites, is the largest convention and expo of the outdoor hospitality industry.
