Pismo Coast Village strives to maintain excellent public relations with the local business community, and state and national industry associations. Pismo Coast Village participates in the local community and industry affiliations in numerous ways. Here are some examples:

National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (ARVC)
Jay Jamison, Chief Operating Officer/General Manager, has served on the ARVC Board of Directors as Treasurer and as a representative for the ten western states.

California Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds (CalARVC)
Charles Amian, Operations Manager, is a Past President of CalARVC.

Pismo Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau
Jay Jamison, Chief Operating Officer/General Manager, was appointed to serve as a commissioner on the Pismo Beach Conference and Visitors Bureau in February 1998, and since August 1999 he has served as Chair.

American Red Cross
Jay Jamison, Chief Operating Officer/General Manager, was installed in June 2002 as a Director on the Board for the San Luis Obispo County Chapter of the American Red Cross, and he has served as Board Chair since June 2006.

California Travel and Tourism Commission
Jay Jamison, Chief Operating Officer/General Manager, was elected to serve as a commissioner on the California Travel and Tourism Commission, which markets California to potential domestic and international visitors, a position he still holds.

The CPO Program, awarded by the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC), is the only such professional designation in the leisure, recreation, entertainment, and park industry.

Pismo Coast Village is active with community service agencies which foster good public relations. These community service agencies include the Pismo Beach Fire and Police Departments.

Local Area Events
Pismo Coast Village sponsors and assists with many local events which promote travel and tourism for Pismo Beach. This is a list of events with which PCV assists on an annual basis:
Western Days, Custom Car Show, Clam Festival, Mardi Gras, Jubilee by the Sea, Pismo Beach Easter Egg Hunt, Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run, and the annual Pismo Coast Village Special Children's Christmas Party.
